Abstract

This paper discusses the rejuvenation of the forests in the hills of Nepal that is principally attributed to the appropriate type of tenurial arrangements. Credits are given to the forestry professionals and the projects, which took enough courage to do a series of trials and errors until a suitable form of tenurial model is found. More recent efforts and future direction of tenure in Nepal's forestry sector are presented.
