| Abstract | An experiment was conducted at Shankarnagar, Nepal to test the adaptability of 23 neem ( Azadirachta indica ) provenances and to identify the best provenance in terms of health, stem form and productivity. Results indicated that two neem provenances, Sunyani (Ghana) and Yezin (Myanmar), had showed better performance in survival, growth (height and diameter), crown diameter and health at 4.5 years. It is suggested that although some provenance showed encouraging results, it is still premature to identify the best one. |
