This book contains the non-wood forest products (NWFPs) country profiles compiled for 15 Asian countries at the national level: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. These profiles include a standardized text providing the available qualitative and quantitative data on NWFPs and a standardized table showing quantitative information. The socioeconomic importance of NWFPs is discussed. In addition, this report includes an overall regional analysis of the data.
