A Pocket Guide to Waterbirds of Rupa Lake has been published
LI-BIRD and Wetland Friends of Nepal have jointly published a new publication entitled 'Waterbirds of Rupa Lake: A Pocket Guide' with the financial support from Ecosystem Grants Programme of IUCN Netherlands. This guide is written in Nepali language to make it more user-friendly to local people.
An Educational Kit to Bat Conservation has been published
A new publication entitled 'Bat Conservation in Nepal: An Educational Kit' has been has been developed and printed with the financial support of Bat Conservation International's Global Grassroot Award 2008 (Awardee: Mr. Hari Adhikari). This kit is written in Nepali language to make it more user-friendly to local people. 1000 copies have been printed in first edition.

Nepal: World Wetlands Day 2007 celebrated among school students at Begnas Lake, Pokhara
On the auspicious occasion of World Wetlands Day 2007 (Feb. 2), Wetland Friends of Nepal (WFN) organized a WWD celebration program among 40 participants including school students (from 3 schools), teachers and representatives of different organizations.
