EarthCorps: New training positions for 2008!
To compliment a growing demand for outreach and environmental education training Earthcorps is now offering a 12-month training course in Seattle, Washington, USA. This program will bring together the emerging environmental leaders of international organizations to learn advanced skills in habitat restoration, environmental education and community outreach. EARTHCORPS CHARGES NO FEES for its training and in fact supplies insurance, individual homestay families, food, gear, and a monthly stipend to all international participants. Earthcorps provides additional support in acquiring US J-1 Trainee visas.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5 years practical experience in the environmental field -Or-· 4 years post secondary education, plus one year of work experience in a field related to the environment. · 20-28 years old· Interest in environmental fieldwork, intercultural knowledge and educational activities · Commitment to teamwork with peers from around the world · Desire to engage in service learning · Support from a sponsoring organization· Conversational English· No Criminal Record
