Resource and Environmental Conservation Society (RES-Nepal) is pleased to announce a training on “Philippine Style Bamboo Furniture Processing”, which will be held from 20 to 29 April, 2006.   RES-Nepal and International Network of Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR) have collaborated to design the training. The training will take place in the premises of The Himalayan Bamboo Private Limited at the Industrial district, Hetauda.  The training has aimed to produce experts of bamboo furniture making, which will increase the use of bamboo in furniture making and ultimately save a huge amount of money by decreasing the import of Rattan from abroad.  The training is useful for bamboo and rattan entrepreneurs, organization and individuals working in the field of Bamboo promotion.  The training detail is attached here.
