Job - Community Forestry Officer - SAGUN
Resource Identification and Management Society Nepal (RIMS-Nepal), a well-established local NGO working in the field of natural resource management, governance, livelihood's, community health and other aspects of community development, is in the process of staff recruitment in the following positions:
Position: Community Forestry Officer
Program: SAGUN
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the sub-ordinate staffs and partners to enhance effective implementation of the program
- Develop and maintain institutional linkage with CFUGs, their networks and government line agency
- Generate and document the learning through reflective practices
- Maintain project database management system
- Support District Program Coordinator in program development, planning and reporting.
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Forestry
- Thorough understanding of community forestry system and current issues on it
- At least two years experience in the area of natural resource, governance, livelihoods and biodiversity conservation
- Excellent written and oral communication skill in English and Nepali
- Proficiency in current office software application and good technical skill in database management system
- Ability to work in multi-cultural setting, mature and willingness to travel frequently in the remote area.
Tenure: Annual Contract.
Duty Station: Gajuri, Dhading with frequent field visit.
