dear pramila ji, Only 8% (?)

dear pramila ji,
Only 8% (?) of Nepalis are muslim. Apart from Kashmiri (affluent) muslims settled in Kathmandu, most muslims are sunnis and they are in Terai districts. Muslims are minority in Nepal and generally poorer - my presumption is they have same issues in community forestry as any other minority groups. but, muslim population in Nepal is growing faster like in other parts of globe. So in future, hope they will have more say!

ar you doing research? What is your interest in this topic? I would definitely take into account that muslims are taken differently in different parts of Nepal, in eastern and western terai like Nepalganj.

Hi

Thanx for the posting.

Actually i am not doing a research on it, i am doing my assignment on it as Muslims a minority group and I wanted to relate it with CF of Nepal. Do you have any realted paper about CF in Nepal and Muslims, has any findings being done about this? If you have any please send it to me.

Of course if I get chance to do research I will go for it, but now I don't have any plan about this.

Regards
Pramila K.C.(Rayamajhi)
