Forest Development Officer at NSCFP
Nepal Swiss Community Forestry Project (NSCFP), phase VI 2008 - 2011, a bilateral project of Government of Nepal funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and managed by Inter-cooperation, is seeking to employ Nepali national for the post of Forest Development Officer for Okhaldhunga district
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in forestry. However, Intermediate level in
forestry and bachelor degree in any discipline is acceptable from
women, dalit and ethnic minorities of local people. - Good knowledge of sustainable forest management, gender, equity, livelihoods and governance.
- Excellent facilitation and coordination skill and a good team player.
- Ability to work independently.
- Command in English and Nepali language for facilitation and report writing.
Job Information:
- Job is subject to approval of the Project Phase by GoN.
- Permanent government employee requires to submit No objection letter and should resign if appointed in the post.
- Salary, benefits and conditions according to NSCFP norms.
