Two Nepali scholars, Chudamani Pandey and Ram Poudel, have been awarded Darwin Fellowship grants for 2007/08.
Darwin Fellowships are targeted at promising members of recent or current Darwin Initiative projects from countries rich in biodiversity but poor in financial resources.
