About me

I am broadly interested on decentralization in natural resources management (forest management, watershed management and protected area management) particularly policy analysis, community based forest management, forest products valuation and livelihood relations, community development, watershed and protected area management in developing countries. I am also interested on project design using logical framework approach, training and capacity building activities, organizing seminars, workshops and conferences on natural resources management.

I received B. Sc. Forestry Degree (1995) at Institute of Forestry, Tribhuvan University, Nepal; Master's Degree in Sociology (2000) at Patan Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal and Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences (2006) at University of Tsukuba, Japan. Currently, I am a PhD student at University of Tsukuba, Japan (2006/4-2009/3).
