I was born in Gondar, Ethiopia and married with three children. I did my MSc at Leipzig University and PhD at Martin-Luther University, Germany. I am currently working at Hawassa University (Ethiopia) at a rank of Associate Professor. I am an animal production expert with special interest undertaking research on the utilization of multi-purpose trees to both animal and human benefits.
