About me

I am Botany major and my area of Specialization is Plant Systematics and Phytogeography. I completed my masters from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal in 2003. My M. Sc. research was on "Forest Flora of Duradanda area of Lamjung District, Central Nepal".I have been working as lecturer of Forest Botany and Tree Physiology at Kathmandu Forestry College (KAFCOL), Koteshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal from 2005. I also worked at Tribhuvan University Central Herbarium (TUCH)of Central Department of Botany, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu as assistant curator for one year. I carried out revisionary work on Nepalese Albizia. My areas of interests are: plant systematics, phytogeography and evolutionary phylogenetics. I am also intersted in Herbarium study and management, flora and other systematic works. After my involvement in Kathmandu Forestry College, as a faculty, my interest has also inclined to the field of forestry.
