About me

Currently I am managing the activities of a research project (Buffer zone restoration and development in Knuckles Conservation Area, Sri lanka), jointly implemented by University of Aberdeen, UK and University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Apart from this managing responsibility, I am looking at one of the research components of this project for my PhD study. The aim of my reserach project it so to examine the  techniques for restoring the degraded forest ecosystems that are compatible with conservation and enhancement of the local livelihood.
