About me

I am a Ph D student in Soil and Water resources engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My reseach interests vary from water quality (sediment, nutrients, pathogens) modeling and waste water treatment processes to application of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) in hydrology and water resources. I am also concerned about effects of logging on stream water quality. I received Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University (Nepal) in 2002 and M. Eng. in Water Engineering and Management from Asian Institute of Technology(Thailand) in 2005. After getting Masters degree, I joined Department of Forest Resources Management at University of British Columbia (Canada) as a Reserch Assistant and worked there for one year. In August 2006, I moved to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for my doctoral study.
