The technical name followed by family name, local name in Nepal, locality, voucher specimen number, salient features, type of bio- fence and other ethnobotanical uses of the 23 plant species, which are grown by farmers in Dhulikhel, Nepal as bio-fences to protect their crops from any damage, are presented.
