Resource and Environment Conservation Society (RES-Nepal) successfully completed The Philippine Style Bamboo Furniture Manufacturing Training in collaboration with International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR) in the premises of Himalayan Bamboo Pvt. Ltd, Hetauda, Nepal. NSCFP/SDC, GTZ/PSP, LFP, BDS Maps, MEDEP and Himalayan Bamboo were the partner organization of the training.

The main objective of the training was to enhance the quality and design of bamboo furniture and skill of Nepalese artisan by transferring skills and knowledge on bamboo furniture processing. Total 28 participants (5 Female & 23 Male) from different area of the country mainly involving in furniture making and bamboo enterprises participated the training.
