| Abstract | These proceedings contain 13 papers presented at the National Workshop on "Improved strategies for identifying and addressing fodder deficits in the mid-hills of Nepal". Issues on fodder and livestock production were covered and included: fodder collection and allocation; livestock production, production objectives and perceived fodder deficits; farmers' initiatives to address community forest management; consideration of supplies of feed from both off-farm and on-farm sources; and the impacts on crop as well as livestock production. |
