| Abstract | Status of plant diversity along with the physiographic zones of Nepal is described briefly. Significance of the Non-timber Forest Products (NTFPs) in the context of the Nepalese economy is briefly dealt with. Possibility of integration of NTFPs in the sustainable management and development of the forests in the light of Forest Act, 1992, has been briefly described as a fulfilment to the UNCED, 1992 declaration. Some recommendations are made. |
