| Abstract | The wild food plants of Primates were studied and reviewed. Two different phytogeographical localities were studied. The data for December, January and March were analysed from 1992 and 1993 in Chitwan and 1997, 1998 and 1999 in Makalu-Barun National Park in Nepal. Data were collected through focal animal sampling and scan sampling (all occurrence sampling) methods. Results showed that Primates feed on plants according to vegetation distribution and availability. They also indicate that Primates do not show a preference for special plants or species or families. |
