| Abstract | This paper analyses the various aspects such as land-based and financial resources and social mobilization of buffer zone management around the protected areas of Nepal, with special emphasis on Royal Chitwan National Park. Declaration of buffer zones has given ample opportunities of promoting ecotourism that benefits the local communities. |
