The Embassy of Finland in Kathmandu is assisting the Government of Nepal and various NGO's in their development efforts. The Embassy is looking for qualified professional to join the development team in the position of Programme Coordinator.

Qualifications:

• At least M.Sc degree in biology, forestry, environmental economics, environmental sciences or related fields.

Experience:

• At least 10 years' working experience in the field of natural resources management
• Experience in planning, management and monitoring/evaluation of development projects
• Experience in non-governmental organizations
• Experience in community forestry
• Experience in climate change and/or carbon trade.

Special Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English
• Analyzing project documents, reports and technical documents
• Redaction of synthesized reports
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the remote areas.
