- Master’s degree in the forestry and natural resource management with at least 3 years of experience in participatory forestry and environmental research
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the forestry, climate change and REDD+ and adaptation issues
- Ability to work independently and deliver quality outputs within agreed tight deadlines
- A strong aptitude and ability to communicate both informally (interpersonal skills and networking) and formally (presentations)
- Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours as required
- Project management experience (development and implementation of work plans, financial and technical management of contracts, supervision of consultants, liaison with relevant stakeholders, etc.
- Experience in project development and resource mobilization
- Skillful in facilitating stakeholders’ workshops, meetings and trainings
- Capable in stakeholders/ partners coordination, team management and prudent decision making skill
- Coordinate, support and monitor the overall project activities implemented in collaboration with the partners
- Experiences/strong interest in program designing and fundraising
- Excellent written and spoken English and Nepali.
