National Workshop on Learning from Community Forestry: How can Adaptive and Collaborative Management Approaches Enhance Equity, Livelihoods and Forests, 2002.

The main objective of the workshop is to synthesize and consolidate learning from community forestry in Nepal. The presentations and discussions in the workshop cover five interrelated themes: Forest Sustainability, Governance, Livelihoods, Gender and Equity and Adaptive and Collaborative Management. This national workshop aims to draw together strategic policy- and practice-related lessons for Nepal’s community forestry program in these five thematic areas.
