| Abstract | This report aims to provide guidelines for environmental action planning, policy setting, and resource allocation in Nepal for the coming decades, based on a sound analysis of the state of and trends in the nation's environment. Nepal's 5 fundamental environmental issues are identified as: forest depletion; soil degradation; solid waste management; water quality; and air pollution. Recommendations addressing these issues are outlined. |
