| Abstract | This publication is a compilation of the four technical background papers prepared for a workshop held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India to highlight the special issues associated with managing dry forests of Asia; in particular to put forward ideas for the development of criteria and indicators for the sustainable management of such forests.
