I had once recommended a Community Forestry User Group from Sarlahi District of Nepal for the reputed Bandevi Prize in 2062 (Four Years back). Still the Bihani CFUG, Sarlahi is working for the conservation of Forest and social inclusion, poverty alleviation.
As the nomination and selection procedure for this prize is going on (for this year), I would like to strongly recommend to consider my earlier recommendation for the choosing right CFUG for this prize. With honoring Bihani CFUG, the reputation of BanDevi Prize and NFA will glitter more! Please find the attachment of my earlier recommendation.
As I am not in Nepal at the moment, other people or DFO Sarlahi can reevaluate my recommendation if needed! I am 100% the Bihani CFUG and its chairperson has been working with more dedication than before!
I hope that the selection committe will take it in consideration while selecting for BANDEVI PRIZE this year!
