The vacancy is for Agriculture Research and Dev. Project Staff positions based at Caritas Nepal Central Office, Lalitpur (with 70% field movement to various districts) and 2 Officers for Field Offices. There will be provisional period of 6 months and placement may be for 5 years. Positions open are:
- Project Coordinator: M. Sc. in Agriculture (and Rural Dev or Sociology). Training in Project Management. 5 Years Project Development and Management Experience of large scale agriculture research and extension project (with international donor preferably EU). Skilled in agriculture research, farmer mobilization, project finance and reporting (using computer). Training or experience in climate change and gender concerns.
- Senior Research Officer: Education of M. Sc. in Agriculture with emphasis on research and extension, experience and publication on farmer practice & traditional practice research (5 years experience), able to manage team for research and extension work, data analysis skills, computer usage skills.
- Officers (2 persons) for Research and Extension (based in Bardiya and Nawalparasi) : Education of B.Sc in Agriculture, 3 to 5 years experience in Agriculture/Traditional, successful practice research.
