Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN) is a membership-based largest civil society organisation dedicated to conserving bird biodiversity in Nepal. It seeks to promote an interest on birds among the general public, encourage research on bird biology and ecology, identify major threats to birds and act to conserve birds and biodiversity in their natural habitats. BCN requires a seasoned, dedicated and results-oriented professional to lead the organisation.
Chief Executive Officer
Position and Responsibilities: CEO is the head of the organisation and will provide overall leadership and vision in developing the organisation's strategic direction and oversee the implementation of BCN's activities. The CEO is responsible and accountable for, overall, in ensuring that BCN's programmes are strengthened and delivered with highest standards through programme development and policy advocacy.
The incumbent will be responsible for overall financial and administrative control of the organization, project management, monitoring, reporting and human resource management. The incumbent should have proven ability to provide strategic direction, donor intelligence and ensure an effective work structure to maximize productivity and achieve BCN's mission.
Criteria: Minimum qualification is Masters in relevant field, PhD preferred. Experience in similar position for over five years in I/NGOs. Ability to use own creativity, judgment and work independently; excellent interpersonal skills and respect for diversity.
Annual Gross Remuneration: Rs. 910,000.00 (negotiable)
