Tiger/Rhino Conservation Project (TRCP) was launched in 2001 with the aim of promoting landscape level biodiversity conservation with strong community based management links to conserve endangered species in and around the Royal Chitwan National Park (RCNP), a world heritage site.

The Upper Mustang Biodiversity Conservation Project (UMBCP) is a community based biodiversity conservation project executed by the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC), a national NGO devoted to the conservation of nature and culture for sustainable development.
Churia Watershed Management Project
The project aims to enhance the livelihood security of communities by improving forestry practices, soil and water conservation, sustainable management of natural resources, and agricultural production.
Strengthened Actions for Governance in Utilization of Natural Resources (SAGUN)
The SAGUN program was developed to build on the successful establishment of Natural Resource Management (NRM) groups in order to increase their ability to manage the precious forest and water resources that support people’s livelihoods.The program works with Community Forest User Groups, Buffer Zone User Groups, Water Users Associations, and committees at all levels of the irrigation systems.
Livelihoods and Forestry Programme (LFP)
LFP’s programming began in April 2001, building upon the experience and lessons learnt from the Nepal UK Community Forestry Programme (NUKCFP). LFP differs from NUKCFP in many ways, principally in the fact that LFP was designed using approaches for sustainable livelihoods.
