About Me:
With more than 10 years of practical experience I am a rising professional in forestry and community based climate change adaptation. As an employee of bilateral and multilateral organizations, I have worked with different types of forestry groups including community forest groups, collaborative forest management groups and public land groups as well with different multi-stakeholder bodies like Village Forest Coordination Committee (VFCC) and District Forest Coordination Committee (DFCC). Specially, I have a good first hand experience on detail baseline survey, facilitation of district forest sector planning, bottom up planning process, local adaptation planning, active forest management, social mobilisation and safe and effective development. I have been intensively involved in leading the climate change and forestry theme at the region and often at central level. Further, I have successfully articulated his learning and experience in local newspaper, development and scientific journals.

Professional Experience:
I have experience of working in different capacities at Livelihoods & Forestry Programme, Terai since September 2002. I also worked for Rupantaran Nepal in LFP and IFP projects.
Since March 2012, I have been representing Rupantaran and leading theme on forest, governance and climate change at regional level for Initiative for Climate Change Adaptation (ICCA) being funded by USAID and managed in consortium with iDE Nepal and RIMS-Nepal.
