Rupantaran is a nongovernment organization dedicated for transforming lives and living of vulnerable communities living in rural areas through natural resource management, resiliency development and income-generation. It has been already implementing various projects on climate change, forestry and livelihoods in different districts of Nepal. Likewise, there are some-other projects in the pipeline. So, to maintain the roster of the organization, it has announced the vacancy for interested candidates to apply for the position advertised as below.

Position: District Coordinator, Location: West, Mid West and Far West Districts
Institutional base: To be specified later

Required Qualification: B.Sc. in Forestry or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in forestry/ NRM and climate change adaptation

Responsibility: The coordinator will be responsible for overall leadership, coordination and management of the project in the cluster/district. The position will be based on district and requires extensive field visits to support project team in selected local NGO for effective planning and implementation of the Local Adaptation Plan of Actions (LAPA), local governance, capacity building, income generation activities and community based enterprises in forestry and/or agriculture sector.
